According to some people national boundaries will disappear in the not-so-distant future. Others, however, contest this view. In my opinion, geographical boundaries will always exist and they are required too.

On the one hand, if countries do not have any borders separating them, people can travel freely and explore the world as much as they can. The lack of boundaries may also boost trade and thus benefit the economy. For example, countries like Singapore and Malaysia have no borders between them and hence people can travel freely. They do not need a visa or have to go through security checkups before they can enter the other territory. Of course, these two countries enjoy good relationships and as such the lack of border between them is only beneficial for them.

On the flip side, not every nation enjoys a good relationship with their neighbours. For example, a border is a must between India and Pakistan. This is essential to stop infiltrators from entering the country. Likewise, there is a strong border between the United States and Mexico and still controlling the flow of drugs from Mexico to the US is quite hard. We can imagine what would happen if there were no borders between these countries. Obviously, borders are crucial for maintaining law and order. They prevent anti-social elements from entering the country.

In conclusion, while it is true that there is no place for borders in a perfect world, ours is far from perfect and hence national boundaries are required to check criminal activities and maintain law and order. Therefore, in my opinion, they are here to stay.

Some optimistic citizens have a desire and belief that one day our world will have no borders, but the truth be told this dissolution of borders is highly unlikely. Further describing both the viewpoints I believe that with so much hatred this seems to be unrealistic.

With the rising espionage, one cant expect to create a favourable environment for our upcoming generations. Having a peaceful treaty amongst two neighbouring countries is improbable or simply impossible how can a numerous number of countries from different parts of the globe can have same boundaries. Everyday we read about reports regarding the Cold Wars going on in the worlds most powerful nations such as India and Pakistan in matters of sharing borders and occupying each others territories, who come we can establish on a convenient deal and dream of United World.

Although, having a singular nation can be quite beneficial chiefly in the matters of Globalisation and Financial status. Today because of the Globalisation and international trade laws importing and exporting basic amenities between different nations has been problematic. A United world will result in having abolishment of such laws and availability of the products to the citizens at a reasonable price. Moreover, besides economic enhancements we can even win the war of Global Warming. The great minds from various nations being it from today’s Enemy nations can unite together and gather the research regarding a solution for this Global calamity.

In my opinion, having a common united front can be quite helpful as there would be no such international laws and our scientists wouldn’t have interference from the higher authorities and would be at the liberty of gaining access to important information anytime.
