Sample report

The given bar chart shows the proportion of UK residents belonging to various age brackets who accessed the internet every day between 2003 and 2006. Overall, it can be seen that in all the four years, internet usage was the highest among those in the 16-24 age bracket. While 80% of them used the internet in 2003 and 2004, in 2005 all of them accessed the internet every day. However, the internet usage among this age group dipped by 10% over the next year. The proportion of adults who accessed the internet every day in the 25-44 and 45-54 age bracket was nearly the same in 2005 and 2006. In 2003 and 2004, more people in the 45-54 age group accessed the internet than those in the 25-44 age bracket. Internet use was considerably low among those in the 55-64 age bracket and it was the lowest among those aged 65 or over. While none of the 65+ population used the internet in 2003, about 20% of them used it in the next three years. Among the 55-64 age group, internet usage peaked in 2006 when nearly 50% of them used it.
