More and more children are becoming obese and developing various health problems as a result. The main causes of childhood obesity are the excessive consumption of fast foods and the sedentary lifestyle. Encouraging physical activity and promoting healthy eating habits are the best ways to tackle this menace.

Fast food joints are mushrooming all over the world. They are a favourite with children because their food is tasty and addictive. Unfortunately, junk food is rich in calories and various preservatives and additives. Regular consumption of these foods causes weight gain in children. Worse still, these days most children lead a sedentary lifestyle. They hardly flex a muscle. Instead, they sit in front of the computers and televisions for hours on end eating loads of chips and cookies. When the physical inactivity is coupled with regular consumption of fatty foods, the result is obesity.

Encouraging children to get physically active and limiting their intake of junk food are the only ways to combat obesity. Parents must ensure that their children are eating healthy, home-cooked meals. While there is no harm in eating a burger or a pizza from time to time, children should not be allowed to have these only a regular basis. In addition, parents must encourage their kids to play a physically demanding sport like football or cricket. Playing a sport helps them burn the excess calories in their diet and thus lose weight. It is equally important to limit their screen time.

In conclusion, children are becoming obese because they eat too much fatty foods and sit for hours on end without moving a bit. Encouraging physical activity and limiting the intake of fast food are the only ways to tackle this problem.

    >>>> Some people think that human history has been a journey from ignorance to knowledge. Others argue that this underestimates the achievements of ancient cultures and overvalues our achievements. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

The argument of whether we have achieved more than our ancestors is yet to settle. While the proponents claim that our accomplishments are more valuable than ancient men, the other side argues that our achievements are merely overvalued. In my opinion, modern advancements are more noticeable, particularly in governance and medicine.

History tells us that people used to live in houses made of mud, bamboos, and stones. Even though the houses were made of basic components, the architecture laid the foundation for the buildings we construct today. Similarly, although in the beginning, people used stones and spears to hunt for the animals, they later learned the ways of farming and developing weapons such as bows and arrows for hunting. Once they had a safe place to live and food on the table, they made advancements in other fields which are still used by us. To illustrate, wheels, which was invented a long time ago, is still used in most of the machines today. There is no denying that the inventions of the historic men were valuable.

Yet, the advancements modern men have made in the past century alone are remarkable. Today, we not only live in safe houses but also have rights such as the right to defend, marriage, etc. This is a big achievement. In the past, a king was the supreme power and all laws were made to protect the people in high positions. However, now we have a democratic process, which protects the rights of everyone. For example, if someone feels they have been wronged by the state or a company, they sue a state or the company. One prominent example of this is where a woman won a case from a multinational company for serving a very hot coffee which burnt the old lady mouth.

In conclusion, the people in the past made progress and invented things which are is still used today, but the effect that modern developments have on the general people more significant. I strongly believe, today’s technology and systems are more valuable.

Nowadays, the obese issues mostly occur in children have been arguing around the world. Countless of people believe if there is a relationship between fast-food consumption and obesity. In general, a lot of parents tend to get their children fast-food rather than buying a regular food because of its convenience of saving time and carrying. In fact, this poor habit results in the majority of their children recently are undergoing many horrific and extremely dangerous consequences of health. For instance, some coverage declares around 80% children are carrying obesity as well as high blood pressure… or worse is cancer. In addition, this issues potentially cause the huge loss of the country’s economy as well as family’s income. The Government have to take more money from each family’s income to spend on preventing more fast-food to be produced.
In order to reduce and avoid this problem, at first, School should encourage children to do more physical activities by celebrating more sport events. By that, both children and teachers will be able to obtain a good health as well as destress after tiring lessons. Secondly, Parents should completely guarantee that their children are not intaking any cheap quality of food by educating them how to distinguish between food containing poor quality and rich nutrients.
In a nutshell, Children are becoming more obsess because of the way they eat food and the food they choose to eat. They should be encouraged, fostered to do more physical activities. This can contribute into healthy society formation.
