Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter in response to your advertisement for a baby sitter posted in the magazine Child Care. I am doing Bachelor’s in Psychology at Melbourne University and since the pandemic has hit the country my classes are completely online. I would like to have this job so that I can take care of my expenses while I am studying here.

Since I am the eldest child of my family, I am quite experienced in taking care of children. Both my parents used to work while my siblings were young and I was the one who took care of them. In addition, I am a cool person by nature and will take care of your child with utmost sincerity. I am quite friendly as well and your child will enjoy my company.

Since I am studying, I will get free time only during weekends and then I would like to visit some beautiful places around the city. If you don’t mind, I would love your family to join me on these trips. Also, I am a huge cricket fan and I might as well join a cricket club if I get more free time.
