Dear Sir or Madam

I am writing to ask whether you are interested in buying an old Persian flower vase that I own. I heard about your antique store from a friend of mine who visits it frequently. She told me about your store when I told her about my intention to sell the vase.

The vase was passed down to me by my grandmother. Her father was a merchant and frequently traveled to Iran, then Persia. This vase was actually a gift he received from one of his clients in Persia.

It is a beautiful silver vase with hand carved floral designs. Although it is more than 150 years old, it has not lost its luster. The intricate carvings also look perfect even today. As it is part of the family heirloom, I am extremely fond of this vase. However, as I need to raise some foods to invest in my new business, I am trying to sell off some precious jewelry and antiques I own.

As I already said, the vase is in perfect condition and possesses historical value. While the price is negotiable, I am asking around 3000 USD. If you are interested in this purchase, I can send you some photos and if you like it, I myself will bring it to your store.
