Band 9 IELTS Essay Sample

Nowadays, online classes have become more popular and many students enrol in them. There are, nonetheless, some learners who still prefer traditional classroom learning. In my opinion, traditional courses and online courses both have their merits; even so, I feel that online courses are better than regular classroom courses in many ways.

Online classes certainly have numerous advantages associated with them. To start with, they are much cheaper than traditional courses. By enrolling in an online programme, poor students who cannot afford expensive collage education can acquire valuable skills and earn degrees, that too from the comfort of their home. Another advantage of online courses is their flexibility. You can take them whenever you want and from wherever you are. By contrast, in order to do a regular course, you have to be in a classroom at a specific time. If you cannot make it at that time, you will miss the class. This is not the case with online learning. The ease of taking the class at a time convenient to the learner has made it quite popular among working professionals who want to upgrade their skills.

By contrast, traditional classroom learning also has its benefits. The most important among them is the better interaction between the teacher and the student. A machine can only deliver the lessons; it cannot figure out whether the student has understood the concepts. A teacher, on the other hand, can easily figure out whether the student has understood something by simply looking at their face. As a result, teachers can clear doubts then and there and this helps with the progress of the student. Yet, the lack of flexibility and higher costs make traditional learning an unviable option for many students.

To conclude, after analysing both sides of the argument it is not hard to see that traditional learning and online learning have their merits and demerits. However, in my opinion, online learning is better because it makes education accessible to almost everyone – even people who have a full time job.

It is indeed true that online learning has become quite popular since the advancement of technology, however, still a reasonable proportion of learners prefer traditional methods of teaching. According to me, both online and offline studying has their own merits and demerits; but still I think that taking online courses have plethora of benefits as compare to regular courses.

To begin with, internet based learning is favoured by most of the learners due to the overall convenience and opulence offered by them. A person cannot only become a part of a classroom form the comfort of his house but also can choose his own timings for daily lessons; in addition, he can use any device like a laptop, tablet or even a smartphone. Moreover, a poor kid who is unable to afford a school can educate himself merely with online education. So, this new way of studying has really set up a benchmark in terms of options provided to students.

In contrast, a regular classroom, where a teacher attends pupils, has their own advantages. Firstly, in old fashioned classes, students can interact directly with their professors and clear any doubts promptly, also, an educator can adopt alternatives to make scholars understand in a better manner. Secondly, a few members of classroom needs to be given extra attention which is certainly not possible in online classes as, in them, everyone is treated as same, owing to this cause, people still suggest to go to academic institutions.

All in all, both ways of studying are holding their own places with regard to their worthiness. In opine that with few improvements, online education will take over traditional courses in the foreseeable future.

In a fast paced world, whilst some people have been finding simple ways to learn something like online classes, others are still in favor of classroom learning. In the following essay, l will try to illustrate both concepts.
One of the main merits of online courses is that it is highly to save the money. By just applying for online courses, people can restrict the amount of money that they spend on a daily basis for instance transportation fees, tuition fees and so forth.
Another basic benefit which primarily causes people to prefer online courses as opposed to classroom learning is that it is not time consuming. Ones can easily have an access to the course at any time they want. It highly seems to improve the productivity of learning.
Conversely, conventional classroom learning has also irrefutable positive sides. One of them is that being among peer group enables to get fitted up with social skills. It seems that learners are able to get to know how to behave and communicate with others, which will prepare them for a lifetime of healthier interactions in all aspects of life.
Furthermore, the discipline of learners will hopefully be improved. Because they are under supervision in classroom. Their every action, such as assimilating knowledge, behavioral manners is controlled by responsible people. These matters are of importance to succeed in not merely work career yet personal life.
To conclude, it seems logical to accept to me that both choices typically hold the strong indisputable progress. Consequently, making the right choice lies on the shoulders of individuals themselves.
