The table shows the number of motor vehicles registered in Australia in the years 2010, 2012 and 2014. Overall, it can be seen that the number of vehicles of all types registered during the given period increased. Motorcycles showed the highest growth in terms of the number of registrations. From 2010 to 2014, the registration of motorcycles increased by over 30.7 percent from 570,000 in 2010 to 745,000 in 2014. Light trucks showed the second highest growth. The number of light trucks registered increased from 106,000 in 2010 to 131,000 in 2014 which was a growth of 23.5 percent. The least percentage growth was seen in the number of heavy trucks registered. It grew by only 10.2 percent. While 384,000 trucks were registered in 2010, by 2014, it rose to 423,000 trucks. Both passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles saw an increase of about 18 percent in the number of registrations during the given period.

The given table provides Australian statistics about the registration of vehicles in 2010, 2012 and 2014. Overall, the registration of the five types of transportation experienced an upward trend, and the number of passenger vehicles was on top of the list during the given period. The registration of motorcycles increased by 30.7%. It is twice as much as the growth in the registration of passenger vehicles and the commercial vehicles. Heavy trucks and light trucks also saw an increase in the number of registrations (10.2% and 23.5% respectively). The number of passenger vehicles registered stably escalated by one million between the years, setting out at 11 million to 13 million. Meanwhile, that of transportation intended for commercial purposes began at 2.3 million and arrived at 2.7 million in 2014. Motorbikes experienced a rise of 200 thousand from 2010 to 2012, ultimately finishing at 745 thousand. The heavy trucks and the light trucks’ figures only slightly increased, starting from 384 thousand and 106 thousand to 423 thousand and 131 thousand respectively.
