IELTS Speaking

The IELTS speaking test takes about 15 minutes. It has three sections – an interview, a little speech and a discussion.
During the interview you will be asked general questions about yourself, your family, studies, hobbies, likes, dislikes etc. No special training is required to do well in the speaking test.

In the second part of the speaking test you will have to give a short speech. You will be given a cue card with three or four questions. In your speech you should be able to answer all of those questions.

In the third part of the speaking test you will have a short discussion with the interviewer.
