The first chart shows the percentage of men and women who did some sort of work around the house in a certain country. The second chart shows the amount of time each of them spent on these tasks. Overall, it can be seen that the majority of men and women engaged in cooking. As much as 85 percent of women and 60 percent of men cooked. Cleaning is another activity that got a considerable percentage of the population engaged. 60 percent of women and 40 percent of men cleaned. Nearly the same percentage of men and women (20%) engaged in pet care.  Repairing is the only activity that saw greater participation of men than women. While 20 percent of men performed house repairs only about 8 percent of women did the same. By analysing the second chart we can see that on average men spent 60 minutes a day for cooking while women spent about 85 minutes for this job. There was considerable difference in the amount of time men (45 minutes) and women (68 minutes) spent for cleaning. They both spent about 20 minutes a day for pet care. Men also spent about 20 minutes for repairing while women spent only 5 minutes a day for this.
