My name is Mansi Chaudhary, and I am a regular customer of your restaurant. I am writing to inform you about an unpleasant experience my family and I had at your restaurant.
It was my parents’ silver jubilee and my younger brother and I decided to take them out to a surprise dinner. I chose your restaurant because I liked the quality of food and the service of the staff while I had a corporate dinner there a few months ago. Therefore, I was not expecting any surprises. But I was dismayed by the reality. When we reached there, I found that there was no record of the booking which I personally made via a call. We waited for 20 minutes to be seated because it was a busy evening at the restaurant. This was followed by a series of delays in placing the order and getting the food served. We could not enjoy the special occasion as expected because we were mostly waiting to be served during our visit. Also, the quality of food was below our expectations. The rice was undercooked and some dishes were too cold.
I understand that it was a Friday evening, and your restaurant was busy as it offers a fine dining experience. Nonetheless, I would seriously urge you to increase the number of staff working on Friday evenings and maintain an online record of bookings rather than keeping a written register.
