You recently spent a night in a hotel and had to put up with a great deal of noise very early in the morning because of a faulty central heating system. The manager promised to contact you regarding compensation, but you still haven’t heard from him. Write a letter to the hotel. In the letter:

- say what you want the manager to do.

I am writing to remind you of the compensation you offered me for the malfunctioning of the heating system in the room I stayed at your hotel. No action has been taken for days even after contacting you for the compensation on the same.
Let me explain my situation. I checked into your hotel room B-203 on the chilly night of 26th October. As soon as I switched on the heating system it started making noises which drastically increased in volume in just a few hours. I could not bear hearing the loud noises and was awake for the whole night even though I had a busy morning schedule next day. I called the reception desk to complain but they could not find a technician at that time. In the morning I called you and you assured me that I would be given a compensation. However, it has been nearly a fortnight and I still have not heard anything from. I request you to resolve this issue at the earliest and offer me a refund of at least 50% of the charges I paid as compensation.
