Band 7.5 IELTS letter sample
Dear Sarah,
Thank you for writing to me. I’m indeed more than happy to share my valuable inputs with you to help you decide whether you should take up a job or continue study.
Frankly, I’d opine that studying further does not seem to be an exciting idea to me for you. Owing to the choices of colleges you have at the moment, though they are the best in the city, I believe that they do not offer state-of-the-art technology, nor do they promise any placement assistance as such. Thus, you might not enjoy really going to college at the moment when you are actually ready to take rather some work assignments.
In contrast, you should take up a job for the moment and save to read further. You are a go-getter and you deserve to have an international exposure, which would aid you to carve your niche in the field that entices you- Marketing. What’s more is that, post working you would be equipped with the knowledge of the work culture and surely would be eligible to apply in world-class B schools. That will absolutely give a kick-start to your glorifying career.
You could perhaps start with the position of a content writer for the moment. Not only, you’ll be able to earn some money doing that, but also will be able to pen down your incredible ideas. In fact, you could also think of taking up some trainee project of PR communication, as you excel in this domain.
Let me know if you need my assistance in preparing your curriculum vitae.
Love,
Amy
