Band 7.5 IELTS letter sample
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to you to express my dissatisfaction with the blender that I bought from your shop last week.
The blender worked fine during the demo session at your shop. However, when I used it for more than 10 minutes in my kitchen, it got overheated and stopped working. Every time I let it cool down, it again works for 5 to 10 minutes and then stops working.
When I called your shop’s customer service number to complain about the blender, the person who picked up the phone assured me that he would send an engineer to my residence to fix the issue over the weekend. However, no one came to visit and when I called again, they kept assuring me that they would send an engineer but no one came so far.
As you can see, it is extremely frustrating for me to keep following up and also, to work in the kitchen without a blender. I would like you to send someone immediately to replace the blender with a new one, and also provide monthly service to me free of cost.
I look forward to hearing your response.
Yours faithfully,
Siddhi Shah
