Band 7.5 IELTS letter sample
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am Sam, who is a regular train passenger of your Himalayan railway company. I am writing this letter to get help with finding my costly watch that I lost on my last journey on your train. It was a watch from Fossil brand and I bought it for 17,000 rupees.
It is a rose gold colour analog watch with a round dial and a metallic strap. It shows both IST and GMT times. I lost the watch on my journey back from my hometown after the festival holidays. I was traveling on the Sadhabthi Express which runs between Coimbatore and Chennai on the 17th of January. I vaguely remember checking time at two stations before getting off at my destination. I deeply regret this unfortunate event and I am looking for your help in finding it out.
Please take necessary action as soon as possible as the event just happened and there are high chances that I may get my watch back. If found, please call on +91-8754204030 or send it via courier to the address that’s tagged to the aforementioned mobile number in your inventory.
Thank you for your support.
I look forward to hearing from you.
