Band 7 IELTS letter sample

Dear Sir,

I am a resident in Creek Harbour community and recently found out about your project in our area, called “Sky Views” in a local newspaper. To be honest, it was a surprise to me.

I believe you are familiar with the type of buildings’ structure in this community. They are mostly townhouses and a few short-story buildings. I do not feel comfortable knowing these skyscrapers have a sight on my garden, as they will invade our privacy. In addition, I am a bit anxious about the congestion that it might cause. I do hope you have kept it in consideration while you were planning the roads infrastructure for entrance and exits to these buildings.

I am assuming that you have planned to build supermarkets and other small shops, such as pharmacies and beauty salons, beneath these buildings. If you do so, you will save the traveling of the residences in this neighborhood, and this will lead to less road congestion.
