Band 7.5 IELTS letter sample

Dear Sir or Madam

My name is Sonia Singh. I recently found your advert for a babysitter for your infant in the Home & Me magazine. I would like to recommend myself for this position.

I would really like to work for you because you are giving me an opportunity to live in a family environment. It will be extremely helpful for me to grow as a person as I have never been with other families / another family since my childhood. Also, I love spending time with children because they always keep us going and it helps to prevent laziness.

Talking about my professional qualification and previous experience, I have recently completed my part time advanced diploma in nanny care. In addition, I have 5 years of experience looking after children aged zero to eight. Presently, I am working as the caretaker of a one year old baby. But his family is moving to some other place. Therefore, I would be free from next month.

In addition, during my free hours I will explore the local culture and new places. So working with you will give me a chance to pursue my hobby, travelling, along with doing my job. This will be a good experience for you and me.

I assure you that you will be highly pleased with my service and hope you will consider me appropriate for this offer

Thanking You

Yours faithfully,

Sonia Singh
