Dear Sir

I recently came across a training program for marketing professionals. I found the course interesting and relevant to my current role in the company. Actually, it is the Good to Great marketing program popular in the international market.

It is a short term course of two months’ duration. I have done some research regarding the same and I find it as an attractive opportunity to learn more and upgrade my skills to the next level.

Although the course does not demand much of my time, I request you to relieve me early on Saturdays. The classes will be conducted on the weekends. I will try to finish my office task early on Saturdays so that office work is not hampered.

I certainly believe that the course will be an added benefit for not only me but also my entire team. As a team leader I will be able to train my staff and prepare them to handle international projects individually.
