Dear Sir or Madam
My name is Rajeev Menon and I am studying Masters in Logistics Management at RBS University. I am writing this letter to let you that I lost my student identification card yesterday at a tram stop.
This morning I went to collect my tram card and they asked me to show identification card as proof. As I lost it yesterday I could not receive the tram card today. I could not enter the dormitory either as I need the card to access it. I tried calling my roommate but she was not in the hostel and I waited for almost 20 mins near the door for someone to open it.
I would like to request you to allot me a new identity card as soon as possible so that I can collect my tram card. Cabs are too expensive for me and I can’t afford them for more than a couple of days.
