You Have Just Returned From A Long Holiday

You have just returned from a long holiday. While you were away, your friend looked after your house. Write a letter to your friend.

• Thank your friend for the things she or he did for you
• Offer to reimburse any money she or he spent on doing these things
• Arrange to meet your friend for a coffee later in the week.

Dear Srishti,

I hope you did enjoy staying at my place. Well, I cannot thank you enough for your help and I certainly believe that I am blessed to have a friend like you. You really took great care of my pet, Bruno and my garden when I wasn’t there. Also, I really appreciate that you calmly handled Bruno and served him his meals on time. I really owe you a lot.

I got to know that you had gone to a pet doctor because Bruno wasn’t feeling well and you spent your own money. Also, you had to buy medicine for him. You really handled the situation well and I don’t think I could have done it any better if I were in your shoes.

I would like to pay you back, if possible, would you let me know your bank details?                                            

Actually, I was thinking of taking you on a date on the weekend at the Barista, I know that you are a coffee lover and I am eagerly waiting to tell you about my travel experience.
