Band 8 IELTS letter sample
Dear Sir or Madam,
This is regarding the article The Heritage Sites of Shahjipur published in the latest edition of HU Traveller. The list of the top heritage sites across Shahjipur stated that the city fort was built by the Irish. I would like to apprise that this information is incorrect as it was built by the Garhwal community in the 15th Century.
As one of the prominent and most read travel magazines across the nation, I feel it is the responsibility of the research and editorial team to publish the correct information. Since the city fort is one of the prime attractions of Shahjipur, the incorrect information can mislead the readers. Also, it hurts the Garhwal community because the fort is an object of pride for them.
However, since the magazine has undergone distribution, I request you to publish a separate note with rectified facts in the upcoming edition.
Thank you for your time and support.
