Dear Vinoth,
I’m just writing to congratulate you on your engagement. I learned about your engagement as I was scrolling my Facebook news feed the other day.
I have seen your engagement photos too, and I must say that both of you make a perfect couple. Unfortunately, I saw your invitation in the chat box only after your engagement date and I’m really sorry for not attending the party.
I think you are the last person to get married in our friend circle and I’ve been waiting for this event for a long time. It was really a pleasant surprise and when I told my family about this. They are also really happy for you.
Why don’t we celebrate this? Can we meet up this weekend? I’ll invite all our friends for a party at our favourite Foodlands restaurant, where you can introduce your fiancé too. I’m delighted to meet you both.
