Band 7.5 IELTS letter sample
Dear Sir/ Madam,
I am a resident of Kazhakoottam in Trivandrum. I am writing this letter to enquire about the plan to build a shopping complex there. I heard about this development through our local newspaper.
I felt happy when I heard about this, as it is a populated place, without any shopping malls nearby. It will be a great convenience for people to find all that they need under one roof. This mall will create a big difference to the visual appeal of the area as there are very few sky scrapers here.
I hope you have allocated enough space for parking purposes, as if there is not sufficient space for customers, they will cause inconvenience to the residents by parking their cars in front of their gates. Parking woes are already a problem in many parts of the city. Hopefully, the mall will not add to it.
I look forward to hearing from you.
