Dear Rita
It is nice to hear from you again. I was surprised to find out that you had also heard about the terrorist attack in our country. It was a gruesome act that killed 19 civilians and injured 25 others. The incident took place last week in Kashmir which is infested with terrorist activity.
The attack was widely condemned by everyone and people are interested to know more about it as they are highly terrorized. Moreover, all the citizens feel strongly about the families who lost their loved ones.
I am personally concerned about this development because my brother works for the military and I can totally relate to these troubling activities which have been going on for ages. I am concerned about my brother as he is posted in the nearby area.
I wish these terrorists get appropriate punishment and these incidents don’t happen in the future. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on this issue.

Dear Mark
I am writing this letter in response to your question about a major event which recently made news headlines in my country. You might already know that our lifestyle has changed considerably since the beginning of January 2020 due to the corona pandemic.
Actually, my country was not badly hit but as a precautionary measure the government had imposed a nationwide lockdown which made headlines all over the world because it was too strict. The government is going to make an announcement regarding resuming travel from next week and people are eagerly waiting for the changes in travel restrictions as they are used to traveling every summer to escape from hectic schedules and feel relaxed.
I was supposed to go to India last month for my brother’s wedding but due to lockdown and travel ban I could not make it so, hopefully if flights start operating, I will go to India to visit my parents and meet the newly married couple.
I am interested to know about some current events which took place in your country as well. Waiting for your response.
