You are a student at University of Sydney. Your ID card has been stolen. Write to the Local Police Station:

  • giving details of who you are(I have been  studying finance in ABC for 2 years. This is my last year in graduation. Next week are my final exams and I need that ID card to appear in the examination)
  • what happened and asking (I was travelling to my accommodation at 6 in the evening by Auto, and I forgot my purse in the Auto, which consist my debit card, cash, and my ID card. I have cancelled my debit card services for a while and cash amount was below 1000 INR. However the )
  • what you should do to get a new ID card. Kindly, let me know what action or proof I need to deposit at your office to get it back.

Dear Sir or Madam,

My name is Ketan Kumar, and I live on Black Street, Sydney. I am writing this letter to file a complaint about my stolen wallet, which had some cash and my university’s Identification card.

I have been studying finance at Princeton University, Sydney, for two years. I have my semester examination next Monday, and I will not be allowed to appear for it if I do not carry my ID card. Let me explain how I lost it. I was traveling back by bus to my accommodation after attending the lectures. I was in a hurry since I was getting late. I had to receive my parcel, and a courier man was waiting at my doorstep. When my stop came, I forgot to check my pockets to confirm the presence of the wallet. I think one of the two passengers who were sitting next to me must have taken it. Since he was trying to communicate with me, he was asking me questions about my personal life. However, I tried to ignore him throughout the journey.

Kindly help me in finding my ID card as soon as possible. Let me know what documents I need to submit to file the case.
