Dear Mr. Smith,

I am writing to complain about the work you did recently at my under construction house in Urban Estate, Ambala city.

Let me explain the problem in detail. I would like to remind you that three days ago I hired you for making a water connection to my house from the main line of the water supply to the locality. Also, I requested you to lay down the water pipes for the water supply to different parts of the house. This would have helped the construction and the plastering of the walls at different parts of the house. However, the water supply got interrupted the day after you made the connection and this problem hampered the construction work. The labourers are now bringing the water from a tube well nearby and this is costing me time and money.

Can you please visit my site to rectify the problem? I think the connection between the mainline and the pipeline to my house needs to be revisited. You will either have to dig up the road again to repair it or make a new connection. I hope you would be little more careful in the future while making a new connection and recheck it the next day to ensure the quality of the work.
