In recent times, the increase in population has become a cause of concern for any nation whether it is developed or undeveloped. This problem leads to many other disasters for most of the nations. This essay will discuss the causes of this problem and suggest a solution.

To begin with, this issue impacts each and every sector of the undeveloped and developing nations. For instance, especially in South Asian countries they are facing many challenges due to over population. As those countries have limited resources to tackle this huge number of people / huge population), they are facing difficulties in maintaining the basic needs of citizens such as food, education, health and so on. Thus, it can be said that increase of population in enormous number is a threat for any nation.

Secondly, for the industrialized and developed nations population increase is also a matter of concern. When there is more population the government needs to create more opportunities in the job sector for these new people. For example, one survey conducted by bureau of statistics Australia revealed that the government needs to invest more to create more opportunities in Australia for upcoming generations. Therefore, it is hard for any government to provide for a huge population.

One smart solution, the world has seen in recent times is the one child policy of China. China imposed the rule that people will be penalized if they have more than one child. Now china is a leading economy of the world. Moreover the government can educate people about the demerits of overpopulation.

To put it in a nutshell, if population increases at the current rate, the world will face various types of problems. That’s why everyone should be aware of this problem and take proper action to resolve this issue.
