The bar graph illustrates how often people in the USA went to fast food restaurants over the 10-year period from 2003 to 2013. Overall, the proportion of people who ate at fast-food restaurants at 6 different frequencies saw a varying trend during the given 10-year period. The percentage of people visiting the fast-food restaurants every day and those who never went over the given period remained at 5% and below. On the other hand, the percentage of those went once a week or once or twice a month stayed at or above 25% at all times. In 2003, as much as 31% of the consumers ate in fast food restaurants once a week. Their proportion increased slightly to 33% in 2006 and then dropped to 27% in 2013. At this point the once-or-twice a month customer became the highest frequently visiting consumer at about 33%. Regarding the percentage of several-times-a-week customers, this number was at about 17% in 2003 after which it grew to 20% in 2006. Then it fell to 16% in 2013. These numbers were only slightly more than the a-few-times-a-year visitors whose frequencies were about 13%,15% and 15% in 2003,2006 and 2013 respectively.
