According to some, people enjoy their life more when they are in their teens. However, others argue that adult life is happier regardless of the responsibilities. This essay will discuss the both sides of the argument in detail and explain why juvenile life is more joyful.

To commence with, people think that we enjoy our teenage years because we have no duties towards our family or friends. So, we can completely concentrate on our ourselves and our career. As we know success in anything makes us cherish life and people at this age have enough time to enjoy parties and hang out with friends as they are free after studies. Another reason is that teens find happiness even in small things. For example, when I was a teenager, even getting good marks in exams or attending a party at a friend’s house used to make me happy.

On the other hand, when we are grown-ups we are just running behind our dreams such as buying a house or a dream car and to achieve those things we become busy earning money by spending extra time in office and doing overtime. Sometimes we do not have time for our family or friends because we think that once we fulfil our dreams, we can live our life but at that stage it is too late. For example, a survey shows that in India, the people who are spending more hours in office are less happy than those who have enough family time.

To conclude, after discussing both views we can clearly say that the period of juvenile life is more joyful as we can become happy by doing or achieving small things in life.

The definition of happiness differs from one person to the other. Many think that teenage allows them freedom to enjoy life while others believe adulthood offers more fun despite the responsibilities that come with it. I think all stages of life offer their joys and sorrows.

The best thing about teenage is that we have no major responsibilities at this age. We also have plenty of time on hand and we are excited about our future. We spend most of our time studying or hanging out with friends. This is also the age when most people fall in love for the first time. So, obviously, teenage is full of excitement and fun.

Adulthood offers its fair share of advantages too. Most people are financially and emotionally independent by the time they become adults. They can make their own decisions. This is not something that teenagers can do. Also, adults tend to have an established career they are proud of. They are also married and have their own family. All of these factors make adulthood an equally exciting phase of life. Of course, there are downsides too. Adults are responsible for their life and decisions. They have no one to blame when they make mistakes; nor do they have a massive support system. In fact, they are the ones supposed to provide support to others in the family.

To conclude, teenage is definitely a beautiful phase of life full of adventure and excitement. Adulthood is just as good with enough freedom and new responsibilities. Personally, I believe that all phases of life have their ups and downs and it is not possible to say that one is better than the other.
