It is considered by some that having the same opinion is the key element in friendship, while there are others who think it is better to have difference in opinions. This essay will discuss both sides of the argument in detail and provide evidence as to why difference in opinions is essential.
On the one hand, many believe that having the same mindset will give you long lasting relationships. In other words, buddies sharing similar interests, likes and dislikes, can easily understand your situation and will stand with you through ups and down in your life. For example, my childhood friend is still my best friend as we support and strength each other in worse situation because of our similar mindset. Better understanding of mindset will eventually lead to everlasting and harmonious relationship.
On the other hand, difference in opinion will give you more chances to grow better in life in different directions. Arguments often lead to thought processing with different prospective of one situation which would you never think about. For example if you take argue over your presentation in class with open heartily you will eventually be able to lead pressure situations in your professional life much easily. Different opinions always provide reason to have better understanding of situation with other prospective too.
In conclusion, both friends with the same opinion and different opinions have their own place in everyone’s life’ but I personally believe that the difference in opinion will eventually give you more long lasting results in your future.
