While some argue that kids should be allowed to make errors, others believe that parents should prevent children from making mistakes. In my opinion, teenagers should be allowed to make mistakes.
On the one hand, children should be allowed to make errors to enhance their life learning. If there are no mistakes, there will be no learning. A person will stay in their comfort zone and may not grow in their lifespan. It is quite vital to experiment with new things and make mistakes. However, it is equally important to learn from such mistakes and rectify them. Had there been no gains from the mistakes, it will be a futile effort. For instance, Thomas Edison, an electric bulb inventor, made a thousand errors before his discovery. Therefore, it is pertinent to say that children should have the freedom to make mistakes.
On the other hand, people believe that parents should prevent children from making mistakes as sometimes these can prove fatal and cause death. Nowadays, teenagers are trying to imitate the action scenes from the movies and then execute them. If they are allowed to perform by the parents, it will cause death. For instance, as per a report published in the Hindu newspaper, a child died after performing a bike stunt last year. That stunt was picked up from the famous action movie ‘fast and Furious’. Thus, adults should prevent children from making mistakes.
To conclude, although adults can prevent children from life-threatening mistakes, they should be allowed to make mistakes so that they can learn and grow in the long run.
