It is often argued that the number of holidays awarded to employees should be in accordance with the nature of their job. I fully agree with this view.
Some jobs are physically and emotionally more taxing than other jobs. For example, people working in the armed forces require more holidays. Since they are more likely to work in places far away from their home, it is essential to give them a few months of holidays per year. This enables them to spend some time with their family and rejuvenate themselves. Likewise, people working in oil rigs or construction sites need more off days to stay physically and mentally healthy. Hence, it is essential to take into account the nature of the job while determining the amount of holidays each employee should get.
On the flip side, people working in the same office should be given the same number of holidays regardless of their designation provided that the nature of the job is the same. For example, if the manager is given more holidays than lower level employees, it may create resentment among the latter. Also, if the manager or the supervisor goes on holidays too frequently, it will affect the productivity of the organization because of the communication gap between them and other employees. Hence, it is essential to avoid such situations by giving the same number of holidays to all the people whose job requirements are more or less the same.
In conclusion, I agree with the argument that the nature of the job should be the main criterion used for determining the number of holidays each employee gets. Employees performing the same kind of jobs should get the same number of holidays regardless of their position in the organizational hierarchy.

It is believed that number of holidays should be provided in accordance with the job one works in. I completely agree with this view as this has positive affects as enumerated below.
Some jobs are tougher than the other jobs and put a lot of pressure on the employees. For example, people working in construction jobs and oil rigs are far more tired both mentally and physically due long working hours and level of energy rendered to finish the jobs. If they take appropriate time-off from their work, they will most likely return to work refreshed and charged up. Likewise, army officers go through a lot during their postings. If they are given few months of vacation, they can spend time with their family as they stay out long distances from their family in high pressure environment. Hence, different job requires a justified amount of break according to the nature of the jobs.
Also, getting appropriate vacation time from work will keep the employees motivated to their jobs. Keeping employees on top-priority, the workplaces will see more loyal and efficient people. Employees would feel confident that their employer does care about their wellbeing by giving enough rest after hard work and this will make them more productive. For example, a worker at construction site would not be able to do their job properly if he/she is tired due to lack of rest.
To conclude, I believe jobs with the nature of high pressure on mental and physical health deserves to enjoy more vacation days in order to rejuvenate themselves. This will keep employees loyal and would eventually improve their productivity at work.

On the one hand, Company or organizations need to provide the holidays by understanding the problems to their employee. For instance, if an employee have got some health problems, physically or emotionally stress out or any others personal matters, then firms should analyses their situation and give holidays as per their need to unwind or surmount their problems. So that one can rejoin in their duty with full spirit and enthusiasm to provide better outcome.
On the other hand, if the company become biased on the position of their job and provide more holidays for employee in higher rank, then it may deprecate the morale of employee in lower positions. Consequently, it directly affect the productiveness of a firm and can turn company into great loss. For example, a recent new was published on Himalayan Times that ‘Trinity Carpet Production’ company was prejudiced on their employee’s holidays by giving more holidays for staff in higher echelon than the number of holidays of others employee. Therefore such acts of company forced lower position employee to protest against them by not attending to their duty, making a company huge loss of around 35 million in a week.
To conclude, this essay completely disagree that holidays should be accordingly to their nature of jobs, but point out that it should be based on the predicament of their employees, which will benefit both firm and employee.
