Although few individuals express their thought that parents needed to involve
their kids in participating in group activites during their leisure, others
argue kids need to be independent in their own decision to engage themselves.
Since beginning of this 21st century, every activity of children has become
a vital decision to their parents. This essay will further elaborate my opinion
favouring idea of how children age group matter in both propositions.
When children are at very young age, parent needs to guide them in making
decisions for them until they are old enough to make their own decision.
Evidently, a group activity can introduce them to be more capable to blend in
with others, exchange ideas, learning together. For example, when parent enroll
their child for a summer camp, or learn music or a sport, that provide ample
responsibilities to children in acquire basic fundamental social behaviour
and communication outside their regular life.
Children at the level of teenagers are supposed to be efficient in engaging
themselves in their leisure time. By this age they have familiar with team building,
organizing. Children at the age of teenagers have already discovered their
interests, skills for next path of the life. For instance, matured children when
enrolls in a sports club or social welfare club they can refine their skills
acquired in their earlier childhood.
To sum up the views mentioned above, for children at early age parents needed to be
encouraging their children during their free time. And Children at older ages
learn to occupy themselves.
