Today human beings are living in the most advanced technological era. It is argued that the current time is the best time to live so far. I believe this to be true because of the modern scientific inventions. But if if I have to choose an era from the past I would prefer to live in Indus valley civilization era due to significant town planning and reconstruction methods that developed in that time.
Life for human beings has become much easier than before. Mankind is surrounded by machineries which help them to do their work. For example, cars smartphones electronic gadgets have reduced human efforts significantly. Moreover, artificial intelligence is emerging technology which makes human experience more personalized. For instance, Alexa like virtual assistant devices listen to to voice instruction and follow command accordingly. I firmly believe that no past generation had this kind of luxury and ease is in their time and the Current Era is the best time in the history to be living.
However if I need to select from any historical time I would prefer to live in an era of Indus valley civilization as I have interest in construction and planning. It was a bronze age civilization in north wastern region of South Asia. It was famous for excellent town planning methods, construction of burn-brick houses and advanced drainage system. Many contemporary construction designs are inspired from this era.
To conclude, I believe that digital era of today’s time is better than before for the human beings as the life has become effortless due to advanced smart amenities.
