Here’s my answer for this topic.

Music is sometimes said to be a practical way of uniting differently aged people with distinct cultures. I completely agree with the idea that music has a power to weaken cultural and age barriers.

I think, music could be an effective reason for people with different cultures to join together. Many songs and musical tones usually represent the culture they are created in, and most of them are listened to internationally. Thus, people from all around the world can get a deep insight into the culture that music depicts. Furthermore, concerts involving famous singers attract enormous flow of people from different parts of the world, and this is a great chance for fans to share about their culture and get familiar with others’. Personaly, the last time I went to Spain for a musical concert involving numerous famous singers, I met a French guy and learnt a lot about their traditions, holidays and many more as well as talking to him about ours’.

Additionally, in my opinion, people of different ages have the same views in terms of music. Every person likes listening to a certain type of music. This might be because of emotional stimulus of music, or they just want to be with musical tones, or music reminds them of past, happy time. In this way, musc acts as a medium to draw distinctly aged people together. For example one of my priorities is music when I become friends with someone older or younger than I am.

In conclusion, I would state that music connects individuals with different culture and age.

Some people say History is one of the most important school subjects. Other people think that, in today’s world, subjects like science and technology are more important than history.
Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

It is often argued that whether history should be taught as by far the most significant subject in school curriculum or technology and science could be more beneficial for pupils in current life. While, studying history can be useful in some ways, I believe that learning technology and science can give the young more benefits.
On the one hand, learners can be aware of the vital and exciting aspects of their culture by learning history as a main subject. When they read about the past or the culture, they can be familiar with the challenges which their ancestors faced in order to independent or keep peace of their own birthplace. This kind of findings may help the readers to understand the difficulties in human evolution, as well as the development of countries. Furthermore, when the children leave school, their knowledge in history may help them not to repeat the mistakes which human beings ,made in the past. Also I should not forget to mention that reading past events is so enjoyable that you will have a sense of belonging. For example, when I read or hear someting about Amir Temur who was by far the greatest fighter in Uzbek history, I feel very proud.
On the other hand, it is even more important to learn technology and science, especially in today’s modern life. Firstly, these subjects may be the first step of our flourished future. Nowadays, a varied new types of techniques which make our life easier is being invented by scholars who majored in these two subjects. Secondly, they adjust our lives since in today’s life, every individual uses technology in every field of the life such as in the workplace or even in universities and colleges. Lastly, being aware of thechnology and science really helps people to find a job easily as technical skills are required in almost every kind of jobs. As a prevalant example, one of my relatives found an well-paid and satisfying job due to her knowledge in using technology very well and I believe that this leads development of her futurecareer.
In conclusion, I can understand why people want to have taught history as a priority at schools, but it seems to me that technology and science are much more helpful and critical in children’s future life.

Hello Manjusha, can you please evaluate this essay.
Children nowadays spend a great deal of time watching television.
However, television cannot replace the book as a learning tool,
which is why children are less well educated today.
To what extent do you agree with this statement?

    my essay

While these days, considerable amount of time is spent over knowledge driven programs & gadgets particularly Television, children do not learn as much as they could spending the same time reading books.I strongly agree to this point, as this is leading to lower level of knowledge and intellect of Children these days.

Although Television provides an easy way to a vast amount of knowledge by means of audio-visual content, the motive of delivery is entertainment, rather than knowledge impart. This leads to an indirect way to impart knowledge, which is slow and difficult to grasp by children.
Secondly, Television is highly commercialized means of communication, so knowledge is often bundled with advertisements and promotions leading to distractions to the children. Educational Books maintains focus on knowledge delivery and create a virtual environment in Children’s brains about the time and event explained, which greatly boosts analytical thinking of children. In contrast the imagination process is reduced due to ready-made audio visual content provided by television.

Nevertheless, Television programs prove effective in delivering very complex ideas, to overcome this books these days are accompanied with CD-ROM, where complicated ideas are delivered through animated clips. At times, books are considered as boring means of delivering the knowledge, however content of books can be made interesting not only lexically but also through detailed diagrams and pictures. Books are more effective in development of language understanding among children in comparison to television, for instance children need to know around 95% of words to understand the meaning of a content, which is as low as 25% in case of television due to its visual contents.

Due to above reasons the knowledge intake of children has become slow and indirect, which leads to lower knowledge and intellect power among them these days. Therefore Children should be encouraged to read more number of books and spend less amount of time over television.

Some People Say That Music Is A Good Way Of Bringing People Of Different Cultures Together.

There is no doubt that music is becoming more and more popular among almost all classes of people around the world. I completely agree with the idea that music is quite a practical method to unite distinctly aged people and culture.
It is the fact that music depicts the culture of the place in which it is created, so it is one of the means of spreading culture to the whole world. Since about most of the songs which represent the particular culture are listened to in nearly all countries, listeners can gain a little knowledge about the beliefs, customs of the society which the music is composed in. Moreover, eminent singers who give concerts in foreign countries also help to share information about the aspects of the culture of their birthplace. Because they attract thousands of people from various parts of the world which gives a chance to fans to get familiar with the traditions or customes. As a prevelant example, when i attended a musical concert involving famous singers of Russia which was held in our capital city, I found out a lot of compelling data about amiracans’ lifestyle as I made friend with one english student.
Furthermore, music is considered to weaken age barriers as there are certain types of songs which are cherished by differently aged people. This is because, that kinds of music can be traditional songs of families or the whole community. To give an example, uzbek classical songs are the primary asoects of family gatherings which play an important role in bringing all members of different ages together. This means that, one of the key reasons for connecting with the people in distinct ages is music.
In conclusion, music provides connection with the individual of different culture and age.
