Foreign languages can be easily interpreted by artificial intelligence in this digital era. Hence, there are those who believe that it is useless for children to become bilingual or multilingual. However, I completely disagree with this opinion due to the inaccuracy of computer translations and the benefits of learning different languages.

The main reason for youngsters to learn different languages is machine translations are often inaccurate. With the invention of the internet, almost everything can be done with the help of artificial intelligence, including language interpretation / translation. Although every learner can translate foreign languages with the help of some translation tools, such as Google translate, the inaccuracy of them cannot be ignored. For example, when you use Google Translate, you do not always get the real meaning of the words or sentences. However, when people themselves translate this issue can be avoided because they can organize the structure of sentences based on their knowledge and skills.

The second reason for youngsters to learn foreign languages is that it can bring them a lot of benefits. For example, learning a foreign language also provides learners with an opportunity to learn about different cultures. Another benefit is that being a bilingual person can earn them more opportunities in their later life. A person with the ability to speak different languages can become competitive in the fierce job markets, and it is conducive for their career prospects. 

In conclusion, although translation tools are helpful, I strongly believe that they cannot replace the need to learn a foreign language. Machine translations are often inaccurate and can cause misunderstandings. By contrast, if a child learns a foreign language, they can not only avoid such situations but also improve their career prospects.
