Certain persons opine that music is a great way to promote cohesion among people of various cultures and age groups. Music can be beneficial for bringing people together for social and noble causes. However, the content and the type of music can act as barriers. I agree with the argument that music which is pleasant and widely acceptable can be used for promoting harmony.

Music is one of the forms of art which transcends boundaries of nations and attracts audience all around the world. It is not uncommon to see music lovers come together / unite enthusiastically despite belonging to different age groups, gender, caste or creed. It has been noted time and again that people belonging to varying backgrounds have joined hands for several social and charitable causes by virtue of their common liking for music.

However, there are certain factors such as genre and lyrics which can affect this. For example, a person with interest in classical music might not prefer to attend a western music concert. If someone is not proficient in English, one might not prefer spending time with people who discuss English music. Music with profane and objectionable content directed towards one particular sect of people might not be well received and may even adversely cause communal disharmony

Hence, I believe that music which is soothing, commonly understood and accepted can be used to promote bonding between the people of different cultures and ages. Also, it is essential to monitor the content of the music to assess the suitability as per the social and cultural norms for better acceptance.

In conclusion, music can be an excellent medium to unite people provided the limitations in the content and genre are addressed.

Music, is considered as one of the ubiquitous entertainment mode from ages. It has been always a key distinguisher for culture and generations. Few people think that it is the best way to unite the people of different culture and ages. However, few people think indifferently. I strongly agree that music can unite people together through the universal sentiments.
Few people think that music cannot unifiers the humans due to the generation disparity. People used to enjoy the music from the formative ages but, as advancement happens in every sector, same with the music world. Therefore, some may cannot adjust with current lyrics. Sometimes the old people used to complain about the music taste of younger generations. For example, in olden times the music were melodious, calm and soft whereas; nowadays different tunes of music are released with loud voice, intricate melodies with beats. Nevertheless, they still love to hear the music. Hence, change in the music pattern does not affect much to the generations.
Some people are of view that music have some special elements which can bring different nationalities, creed, sexes and age groups together. Even though there are a lot of advancements happening in music, people enjoy the music with universal emotion and intellectual bonding. For example when Sakira ,a Colombian singer sung the music “WAKA WAKA”in Spanish language featuring the South African play football ground during 2010 FIFA WORLD CUP, It was appreciated by all countries and age groups. We can saw that all time people were humming that song. Although music may cause some barriers among persons, it does help cultures relate through universal, human perspectives.
Hence, I entirely justified that music is a good way to unite humans together even though their taste towards music differs.

Music is one great entertainment sector which encourages people of all age group to come together to establish a strong bond of beautiful thoughts and sharings. However the use of content in a song explains , how a person express emotions in different aspects of life. I would to state my opinion on how music has great impact on the culture and social harmony.

To start with, for older generation ,their kind of interest was listening to beautiful melodies which had meanings of good love and care. As years pass , when come in new generation, they enjoys songs with high beats & mix of old light numbers with loud drum beats. So hence the elderly crowd feels upset when they see the beauty of traditional or great Indian cinema music has been changed a lot with grow in sound technology which contributes a great amount to write lyrics. Even thou the changes has happened the interest and liking towards music has not gone way ,because music is a therapy in which emotions are expressed ,it can be pleasant and sad emotions

Another point of thought, is that every song has got special elements to bring different nationalities ,creed ,age groups together. For instances there many tracks of the renowned music composer and director AR Rahman, which is remaked in different languages for public to enjoy the picture portrayed through the lines of the song. So this point shows how music can never be a barrier among different age group and culture we live in .

To my conclusion music is a good way to bring society together in any occasion to dance , laugh & enjoy the thoughts in the words of the lyrics.
