It is a contentious issue whether or not teacher training is essential for teachers. In my opinion, teachers have a major role to play and therefore they should be trained properly.

Like every other skill, teaching skills can also be achieved through practice. Experienced teachers know how to capture the attention of their class by making their lessons interesting. They know how to control a class of 30 or 40 students coming from diverse backgrounds. Hence, the argument that teachers do not require any special training certainly holds some water.

However, it takes years to acquire experience. Actually, someone who just starts their career in teaching has no experience to rely on. And because of this lack of experience they may struggle in the initial years. This could hurt their morale and they may even start detesting their career. Since teachers are the ones who mould the future of our young generation, it is important for them to be qualified for their job from day one. They cannot wait for 10 or 15 years to acquire those invaluable teaching skills. Training courses impart those skills reasonably well. When aspiring teachers attend a training course, they get to know what they can expect from their job. This knowledge makes them better equipped to deal with the challenges of their profession.

In conclusion, although years of working as a teacher can help teachers develop essential teaching skills, any kind of deficiency can create problems. Hence, I believe that proper training is essential to become a good mentor.

The necessity of teacher training courses always has been a controversial issue, while some people believe that being a good teacher does not need any training courses, I assert that there is no way getting professional without training and education.

It is argued that experience is enough for being an expert in teaching. Considering the pivotal role of experience, it can act as a key solution for any bewildering situation. For example, when a teacher has a hyperactive student, his experience helps him how he should relate and behave to that child. Also, we cannot deny the fact that experienced teachers always are preferred in school. Children’s parents opine that their child is under better supervision if they have an experienced teacher. It is because well-practiced instructors are better managers in controlling the classroom and can grab the student’s attention easily.

However, being experienced without any knowledge is absurd. Acquiring proper knowledge is an inevitable part of becoming a professional in almost every field and area. For example, teacher training courses prepare teachers with different methods of teaching and talk about their efficiency. Or another example is when any changes and upgrading occurs in the educational system, an extra educating course is necessary to inform teachers and improve their quality of training. Moreover, knowledge is like compact years of experiences which can hone a teacher’s skill.

In conclusion, although some believe that teaching courses are not necessary, I believe that without deep knowledge of training methods, a dream of proper education cannot be accomplished.

question in which I’d like to ask if you don’t mind.

I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your head prior to writing.
I have had trouble clearing my mind in getting my thoughts out.
I truly do enjoy writing however it just seems like
the first 10 to 15 minutes are wasted just trying
to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or hints? Thanks!
