While some people believe that children ought to be sent to schools, there are many parents who feel home schooling is more advantageous. I am of the opinion that children who go to school enjoy better overall development than those who learn at home.
Firstly, at school, students learn many life lessons which help them become better human beings. For example, they make new friends and learn to socialize. They are also taught moral values of sharing and caring. Secondly, most schools follow a curriculum that gives equal importance to education as well as sports. This helps children to have an all round development of both the mind and the body. Playing sport as a hobby and also competitively, helps them to learn the qualities of working in a team while also developing their physical strength. Lastly, schools provide exposure to events and activities such as career fairs and inter school competitions. This is where students are introduced to the world outside of their own school. They are provided with ample opportunities that can help them choose a promising career and to have a better life.
There are some children who have special needs or require medical attention. Homeschooling is better for them because they might not receive the care and attention they need in a regular school. In such cases, home schooling is beneficial as parents will not be worried of their child’s health. Also, there are some families who live below the poverty line and they cannot afford to send children to school because of the high fees. For instance, educating a child at home will help the families to reduce additional costs such as field trips, proms, science fairs etc.
To conclude, after analyzing both sides of the argument it is not hard to see that home schooling may be beneficial for some children; however, for the vast majority of kids going to a regular school is a much better option because a school provides plenty of opportunities for children to learn from their peers and socialize.

It is often debated whether children should be home-schooled or sent to school. While many people argue that home-schooling is the best option for a child’s development, others opine that sending children to school is of utmost importance. In my opinion, both approaches have their own benefits depending on a child’s needs. This essay will elaborate on the reasons behind my standpoint.
To commence with, the biggest merit in teaching children at home is the undivided attention they get from their teachers. This undivided attention helps in quickly addressing the student’s weak areas and hence, faster progress in studies can be made. This is especially beneficial for children that are pursuing a career along with their studies. For instance, in India, many child artists are busy with their films and T.V serials shoot and thus, they need this method that allows them to study at their own pace without compromising on their educational or professional goals.
On the other hand, the biggest advantage associated with going to school is the opportunity to learn social skills. Students learn various things, such as how to interact with other fellow students, how everyone is different from each other and how these differences should be respected, in school. All these learnings prepare them for the grown-up world. Moreover, several studies have shown that kids learn faster in the company of other kids. To illustrate, in the developed countries such as the U.S there is a concept of peer group pre-schools, where kids with some disabilities are sent to school with normal kids so that the learning process of disabled kids can be hastened.
To conclude, each method of schooling has its own pros. The former approach offers the flexibility of time while the latter approach is beneficial for learning various social skills. The student’s needs should be properly assessed by parents before choosing either of these options.

Education is the key to a successful future or career. Some people insist that home schooling is the best way of teaching students while others believe that sending children to school is more beneficial. In this essay, I will discuss the advantages of both the ways of learning. In my opinion, sending children to school is the best way as it helps the overall development of students.
To commence with, teaching children at home is an affordable way for parents who do not have enough income to pay off school fees. Nowadays, the overall fee structure is unaffordable to many middle class families. The biggest advantage of going to school is that children will learn social skills. They will become extroverts with an outgoing personality. Moreover, parents are the first teachers of a child. A young one can learn and understand from their own families better than anyone else. For instance, parents can teach their children in their mother language which help young ones to understand better. Furthermore, parents can keep eyes on children 24/7 and teach them any time. Also, if they have any difficulties parents can solve them right away.
On the other hand, institute rules and regulations help to build a sense of discipline among pupils. As a result, children become well behaved as they have to follow strict policies in the school. In addition to this, learning at school helps the student to get more confidence. For example, they can participate in various competitions held at school and the competitive spirit will make them feel more confident. Also, teachers at school are professionals who can explain theoretical and practical concepts better than parents. Another disadvantage is that home schooling does not provide children a lot of opportunities to socialise and hence they are more likely to become shy and diffident.
To conclude, home schooling certainly has some benefits, even so, in my opinion, learning at school is more important as it not only helps to improve the academic score but also contributes to the overall growth of the children.
