Some people argue that since children get so much leisure time, they should utilize this by doing academic work. In my opinion, instead of spending free time doing educational work, teenagers should participate in sports because it promotes health and reduces stress.

To begin with, adolescents should not engage in any educational study in their spare time because they already spend7-8 hours a day studying in schools and afterwards, when they get home they feel exhausted. If they are given more school assignments to solve at home, this will make them stressed out which is detrimental for their overall well-being. For example, an article published by ‘The Tribune’ newspaper shows that children who remain absorbed in their studies all the time are more likely to suffer from mental disorders.

Young people should involve themselves in sports activities in their spare time for their mental as well as physical fitness. When minors go outside to play in the playgrounds they feel refreshed and free of worries which is extremely beneficial for their mental health. Also, playing outdoor games such as cricket and volleyball assists them to build up the physical strength and stamina. As a result, they feel active and perform well in their academics also. For instance, a recent study by Delhi University shows that children who remain engaged in some kinds of sports are healthier and more intelligent than those who do not play any sport.

In conclusion, doing educational activities even in their spare time increases the pressure on children and hurts their mental and physiological development. Hence, teenagers should play some sports or engage in other enjoyable activities after school hours to stay healthy and happy.

It is undeniable that children and juveniles have much more free times in compare to adults. It is believed by some people that these considerable free times should have been devoted to school works. In my point of view, the children should put their free time on playing and extracurricular activities. The convincing reasons why the children free times should be spent on other activities are going to be discussed in this essay.
In one hand, the children should promote their intrinsic skills as well as studying. Every child is spending approximately six hours a day on academic studying. Playing and taking apart in extracurricular classes such as sports or art classes can result in children whom recognize and utilize their capabilities. These activities can improve and develop the children’s social and life skills too. Accordingly, it is vital for children too devote their free time on activities which can nurture the children skills.
In the other hand, children need to participate in activities which can help them to free their mind and promote their concentration beside having fun. Additional activities further to classroom works can also lead to mental and physical health. Spending too much time on school works can make them feeling mentally exhausted which may decrease their academic efficiency. As an example, it is presented by some parents that their children get bad marks despite studying more than ten hours daily as a result of too much time on school works.
In conclusion, although the academic achievements play a vital role on children future success, but devoting free time on studying can lead to children with restricted capabilities or mentally ill children.

It is often argued that youngsters are having a huge amount of leisure time, so they should spend it on doing studies. While I believe that they should devout this time with family and for other extra-curricular and sports activities.

On the one hand, those who consider students should do more studies during their extra time argue that this will improve their grades in results. They might make an assumption that investing more number of hours in studies would ultimately better their rankings, and this will be beneficial for getting admission in top-ranked universities. However, an adolescent is almost giving his whole day in school, it’s no point to create more pressure on him to sit at home and learn extra from books

On the other hand, I believe children should devout this time to learn new things other than studies. Since academic knowledge is not sufficient for the overall development of a child. If parents want that their children would be successful in life then they should try to involve them in other activities also. For example, while playing Football young ones learn how to coordinate with other players of their team to win the match. This will not only make them competitive but also keep them physically fit. Furthermore, parents should also give sometime every day to their children to teach them social values, this will help to make them a person who is beneficial for society.

In conclusion, although studies are very essential, students are eventually studying in schools. I believe it’s better to spend their pastimes in other activities for the complete growth of their character.
