Thanks to the advent of social media, people are now better able to stay connected to their friends and family. They can even follow celebrities to such an extent which was not previously possible. However, the usage of social media has its risks. As people of all ages have access to it and use it in their daily life, it has become a major risk for children as they can be exposed to adult content which may trigger violent behaviour in them. The children are also vulnerable to cyber exploitation as they may not know the true identity or motive of the person they are interacting with online. Even when children are talking to someone they know, social media can still pose a lot of other threats. Cyber bullying is frequently reported in the news and occurs on social media among children. This is very problematic as it means that children can be bullied even when they at their home.

Social media can be problematic for adults, too. Many people are comfortable posting personal views and opinions and other stuff on social media that they wouldn’t normally share in real life.  This can indirectly cause a bad impression on other people, and if employers judge the nature of the content prospective employees post on social media to be inappropriate, it can affect their chances of attaining or keeping jobs. This posted information can also be used to to track adult people and to know their whereabouts which enables the anti-social elements to take advantage and stalk the people and blackmail them to get their bidding done.

In conclusion, people have to be aware of the risks of using social media, and careful enough to post only minimal, risk free and respectable content. Only then the advantages of social media will outweigh the disadvantages.

It is true that offence proportion has been dramatically diminish since the technology introduced to human. It has brought enormous advantages significantly in a honest way. Offenders are constantly frightened of technological preventative machines. I accord with notion and in the upcoming paragraph. I will elaborate two reasons to support my viewpoint.

To begin with, high technology has a great influence on offence decoration. Today’s world CCTV ( close circuit television ) camera is installed throughout the world and even across the globe. Individuals are always surveillance of it in the same way it is monitoring each and every second’s activitie. Additionally, untill criminals know that being monitored essentially don’t commit crime. such as carrying weapons, murder, kidnap, drug dealing, steal, robbery and so on. Moreover, in terms of traffic control system individuals seldom break the rules compared to the past. In other words, they are aware of the law that authorities are constantly monitoring by technological equipments. One clear example is no sooner they break the speed limit captured with car’s plate number in control room.

On the other hand, police personnel’s job have began much dynamic because of technical improvement. Take for example, couple of months back I was stolen my smart phone. As soon as I informed to the local administration they traced my device’s IMEI number by a specific incredible tackle. Surprisingly, which shown the thief’s exact location and ultimately they succeed to capture him. Furthermore, DNA test system has a mega influence on crime rate climbe down. Which is capable to detect criminal’s identification within few seconds by fingerprint.

To sum up, I tend to believe that modern technology has a undeniable contribution on minimising crime activities. However, on balance I wholeheartedly believe that in the next few decades illegality will be lessen more progressively than now.
