Band 7 IELTS essay sample

Both men and women have started equally working in every nation, and hence it is natural that they should divide their household chores among themselves. I agree with this viewpoint as this way of life provides several advantages such as a stress-free life and courage to be independent.

To begin with, sharing home chores mainly reduces the work pressure of the couple. Sharing domestic chores reduces the pressure on couples. If one of them has to do all the work alone after office hours, they will be under tremendous pressure. Eventually, the person who does all the domestic work will have no option but quit their job. This will make them miss out on their career and create feelings of resentment. By contrast, sharing household work enables both spouses to have a flourishing career and stress free family life.

Sharing household chores also enables both men and women to be independent. This is because both of them learn to do each and every job at home, and can run the house independently when one of them is out of town. For example, many software professionals benefit from this phenomenon because their job requires them to travel abroad frequently leaving their family.

In conclusion, working couples should share their household chores because it will help them reduce the workload and in turn, the stress. Furthermore, it enables them to be independent when they are all alone. Every working couple should be encouraged to adopt this lifestyle for leading a relaxed life.

Gone are the days when only men were considered to be the primary bread earner of the home. Nowadays, women also rub shoulder with men in almost all spheres of life let alone jobs. Some people believe that household task should be evenly distributed among men and women. I agree with this statement and will provide the proofs and justification to validate my viewpoint.
To embark upon, there are numerous examples in the world where women have left their golden impression in the corporate world by their success, which earlier were only dominated by the men. Now women are easily seen making the key policies of big MNCs, sitting on the board of big organization etc which results in they do not get sufficient time to devote at home. Thus, it is logical to share household chores evenly between men and women at the home.
Moreover, if household duties are shared, women can be more successful in their job because they would have ample time to devote to the workplace with lesser work back at home. Furthermore, they can spend more time with themselves and accomplish their hobbies.
Nevertheless, it can be seen that men generally have a more cumbersome job and responsibilities to fulfil the financial requirement of the entire family and therefore imposing a domestic task on them can be additional load. This might be further pressurized which can be harmful to their body and mind.
To recapitulate after analyzing above situation it is not very hard to come on the consensus that in this modern era females are working full time across all industries and thus household task must be divided equally among both the genders so that women get sufficient time for themselves

This seems band 6.5 to me. I could not figure out why you wrote that domestic work would be an additional load on men.
