Government companies should conduct the scientific research and not the private organizations. I partially agree with this statement and I think that an atomic research should be with the government with strict rules and health care should be with private companies.

The main reason to consider that some of the research areas should be strictly under the government control to control any malpractices. For instance, research related to nuclear weapons and atomic reactors should be under strict vigilance of the government and should be performed as per the agreed policies across the globe in order to prevent any wrong doings. If, these kind of researches are privatized, then it is highly expected to land in the hands of wrong persons which may lead to serious problems between rival countries. Therefore, the crucial safety researches which may prone harm to the world and may lead to war situations should be with the government only.

A practical reason to consider medical research privatization is because the private enterprises mainly focus on delivering results at faster pace. Due to the commercial interest these companies would invest the best resources and scientists to produce medicines as early as possible. For example, the COVID 19 vaccines were produced by Pfizer, AstraZeneca and Bharat Biotech within one-year period which helped to immunize the citizens across the world. If this task was entirely with the government, then there could be procrastination in the funds release and other political issues which eventually would delay of vaccine research. Hence, medical field research should be under private companies in order get the better medicines at competent speed.

In conclusion, whether scientific research should be with the government or private companies is debatable, I partially agree that some of the research work such nuclear investigations should be with the government only and medical field research should be with the private organizations to deliver medicines at faster speed.
