The given pie charts show how European adults spent their leisure time / free time in 1985 and 1995. It clearly shows that watching TV was the number one leisure activity of Europeans in both the years. While in 1985, 32% of them watched TV, in 1995, this figure dropped slightly to 30%. The second most popular activity in 1995 was playing computer games although no one played them in 1985. The popularity of talking with friends increased. While 21% of the people enjoyed it in 1985, their proportion rose to 26% in 1995. We can also see that the popularity of some activities decreased. For example, the popularity of eating out decreased from 23% in 1985 to 8% in 1995. The proportion of people who enjoyed talking with family also decreased from 18% in 1985 to 7% in 1995. People enjoying other activities also dipped from 6% in 1985 to 2% in 1995.
