Nowadays, we often see people marrying in their thirties or forties. However, some people argue that getting married before the age of 30 provides more personal and social benefits. I completely disagree with this view as this can not only increase the rate of divorce but also put a financial burden on young people.

Firstly, people who rush to get married at an early age / in their twenties tend to have a high probability of getting divorced. This is because at this tender age people are usually not mature enough to deal with the responsibilities, which often leads to misunderstandings and conflicts. As a consequence, many social and personal problems arise, which sometimes urge people to commit unethical actions. To exemplify, according to a survey by the ‘Family and Health’ magazine, the percentage of couples divorced in their twenties is twice as much as that of divorcees in their thirties.

Secondly, my viewpoint is further bolstered by the fact that getting married at a young age can lead to serious financial problems. The reason for this is that many youngsters do not hold a lucrative job at an early age and, it is most likely possible that they do not have enough savings to fulfil the needs of the family. As a result, they often take loans from banks to support their families. For instance, a report from the Reserve Bank of India states that 40% of the family loans are acquired by young people.

Admittedly, conceiving at a young age is better for women to avoid medical complications. In my view, with the advancements of science and technology, there is a strong possibility for women in their thirties to deliver babies safely.

In conclusion, although marrying at a young age is beneficial for starting parenthood, in my perspective, this trend leads to personal, social and financial problems.

In Some Areas of the US, a “Curfew” is imposed, in which teenagers are not allowed to be out of doors after a particular time at night unless they are accompanied by an adult.
What is your opinion on that?
A curfew is an emergency situation, which is imposed by the law enforcement agency to protect the interest of the common people or being proactive to prevent some chaos. In this topic I have asked to provide an opinion about the curfew imposed to the teenagers that they should not come out alone after a particular time at night. Usually, a curfew is imposed when there is a crime or there is chance of crime by certain group of people and their movement is being restricted in those particular areas to avoid any misdeed that may happen by the group of people. For example if someone is murdered in a particular area police might put some restriction that people should avoid the area to protect the interest of the society.
As a ‘Curfew’ was imposed on the teenagers in the US for coming out of house at a particular unless there are someone adult is with them. Teenagers are so sensitive and people of these ages are so vulnerable and can take any decision if a group is agreed at some point, whether the issue is right or not. I f I give you the example of the London riot, a black people was shot dead in the hackney area and teenagers of that area just organized a group by texting in through blackberry messenger and the situation was out of control of the police and not only that the group was so organized that they looted the high street shops and the law enforcement agent didn’t have any choice but to impose a curfew on that area.
A curfew may be imposed to protect the greater interest of the society. An adult are more logical than a teenager. Hence, they will not take a decision which may harm people or the society. Therefore, if a teenager is accompanied by an adult the teenager will not be given the opportunity to do anything awkward while they are out of home. Since, the ban is only at a certain time at night this will not create a big issue unless emergency situations ae considered. They should not be penalized when there is an emergency and they must go out.
In my opinion if a prohibition is imposed for good deed and the society as whole is benefited because of the restriction we should always welcome. We might also consider that these ban should not be permanent and required measures should be taken to get rid of the curfew by some protective measures such as CCTV surveillance on the affected are building awareness among the group of people by regular counselling so that the target age group becomes aware about the curfew and by refraining them to do the things that might cause the curfew and get their freedom back.

Some people argue that young people should get married before their thirties because of its potential benefits. However, I completely disagree with this viewpoint for two main reasons.

Young people should determine when to get married by themselves, as they know what is the best choices for them. Marriage means different things to different people. Nowadays, for example, many people may decide to get married around 40, as they want to become more mature or financial prepared, meaning they could have a more stable life after they have their own homes. They should have the right to make their choices freely without any influences or pressure from others.

Encouraging all young people to settle down before 30 years old is impractical. I am more than 30 years old myself, and I was planning to get married around 25, and I failed eventually. It is not because I did not want to get married at an early age, but it is sometimes difficult to control everything in your life. People are now living in a more isolated lifestyle. For example, we live as one-person households, we flexibly work from home and we reject social activities, which means we may have no opportunities to meet new people and get involved in any relationships. We are ‘forced’ to be single and it thus can be impossible to get married before 30 for a certain group of people.

In conclusion, some people may support early marriage, but I believe that this encouragement is pointless and impractical.

The topic is about encouraging people to get married before 30. It has nothing to do with people who fail to do so. Write only on the given topic. This seems band 6.5 to me. Your second body paragraph was totally off the point.

How can you say this band 8 essay when you don’t fully address all part of the task. In the question it is clearly written individual and society. You did not give ideas for society.
