Band 7 IELTS letter sample
Dear Sir or Madam,
My name is Rachel Green. I am writing to report the loss of my watch while traveling from London to Manchester on November 7, 2022. The travel insurance I bought from your company covers any item lost on the journey and hence I am writing to make a claim.
The watch is a new Apple Watch 13 with brand new functionalities. When I bought it I had it connected to my iPhone so I can track all my gadgets; however, it has been disconnected ever since it went missing. I suspect it was stolen. Otherwise, it would have remained connected to my device at least for sometime after it went missing.
When I reached Manchester, I registered a police complaint regarding this matter. I have attached the police complaint with this mail. I wish to avail of my travel insurance for the watch as it was covered by the insurance. I have submitted the filled application with this letter.
I would appreciate it if you could sanction my claim at your earliest convenience. I thank you for your consideration.
