Thanks to advance in technology, authorities can now keep a constant watch on their citizens. While it is true that the people being watched are often unaware of this happening, in my opinion, the benefits of this practice outweigh the disadvantages.
The public places in majority of the metropolitan cities are kept under round the clock monitoring with the help of security cameras. The constant vigilance on the densely crowded areas, not only limits the chance of any untoward incidents from taking place but also provides security intelligence in case of any suspicious activity happening. The culprits can be brought to book, with the help of available video evidence. The tracking of non-physical activities like internet usage and cellular phone messages is also possible with the help of available technology. A constant watch on the cyber activity provides vital information about any security threats to a particular country and with the help of tracking these activities can be neutralized before taking place.
Although the constant information gathered helps in the public safety, at times it can cause severe problems to the individual citizens. Sensitive information like bank records or property details if fallen into the hands of criminals can lead to cyber crimes. With the current day technology, money from one person’s account can be transferred to criminals’ account with this information. The tracking of internet usage can also casue inconvinience to the people. Telemarketing agencies target the people based on the information gathered through the cyber activity of people and call them and make phone calls to them without consent. These calls might happen during important working hours leading to decreased productivity.
To conclude, constant surviellence provides a safety net to the citizens and country, although there is a danger of confidential information getting leaked to cyber criminals.

The last few years have experienced burgeoning rise in the usage of technology for monitoring people’s movement, for instance, cellphone tracking and security cameras. Even though people are not notified about of hidden surveillance system most of the time, it is one of the inevitable technological advancement. In my opinion, monitoring systems bring myriad benefits to the welfare of society and hence far outweighs any of the minor drawbacks associated with it.
Despite the disadvantages mentioned below, I think there are several advantages while using monitoring systems. Firstly, the role of security camera in finding a criminal is indubitable. In other words, hidden cameras have become the most important evidence for tracking convicted person, especially if the crime is well planned. Secondly, it is irrefutable that there is an exponential rise in the child abduction cases. Mobile phone tracking and security cameras play an important role for finding such missing cases. Finally, if people are concerned about the survelliance system, it deters them from committing crimes such as delinquency and pick-pocketing. That means, technology can shun people from criminal and anti-social behavior.
Admittedly, monitoring systems are invasion to people’s privacy. When people are not being aware that they are getting captured in camera, it violates their human rights. Another point to consider is that with the availability of security camera at ease, some people are incited to misuse the technology. To exemplify, some staffs install hidden cameras in the changing room of textile shops. Thus, it become a challenge to the well-being of the society.
To conclude, although there are minor detrimental effect to people and society, the pros of using the monitoring system far outweighs the cons.

In the past, countries differed from each other in all aspects. However, nowadays similarities are increasing between countries due to the developments in the trade sector and technology. By looking at this trend, one must analyze whether it is a positive or negative development. In my view, growing similarities among countries are an advantage to the society.
Let’s discuss the upsides of the development. Firstly, it will save time and money due to the availability of materials whereas people can purchase anything in any part of the world. Take an example of medical facilities which are available in foreign countries. If such types of equipment are available in their nation an individual could not prefer visiting other countries for medications and can save money and time. Secondly, there will be an equal amount of wealth in nations resulting in to diminish poverty line. Therefore, everyone will receive better education and career growth.
On the other hand, downsides to the development. Obtainability of the same kind of things in all corners of the world would bring pride among the nations disrupting peace and cooperation. This is because the country could become independent expecting no help from others. However, if there is mutual understanding among countries and if they follow ethics and integrity. The situation leading to resentment and grudges will not arise. For instance, developing countries like India and Malaysia are almost similar. Nevertheless, the authorities are sharing their different initiatives through meetings and discussions.
In a nutshell, similar development among countries would save time and money making their life better, to gain proper education and career growth. Although it might bring pride among nations, through cooperation and mutual understanding vanity, can be avoided. In my opinion, identical things will change the thinking ability of people uniting them to achieve a common goal.
