Nowadays many people complain that they have difficulties getting enough sleep. What problems can lack of sleep cause? What can be done about lack of sleep?

Sleep deprivation is now a major problem for many people. Lack of sleep can cause serious health problems. While doing daily tasks, it can cause fatigue. The steps we have to take to solve this issue is to exercise regularly and follow a proper sleep schedule.

Severe health problems can be the after effect of lack of sleep. People may become sick when they do not get enough sleep.   Doctors say that high blood pressure and depression are more common among sleep deprived people. Moreover, it can cause tiredness and drowsiness in some persons. As a result, they get tired more easily and they cannot focus on their work. For instance, if drivers do not get enough sleep, they may feel drowsy and it can cause accidents. The first measure that should be taken to tackle this issue is to exercise regularly.

If we exercise every day, we will become exhausted soon and get sound sleep. Scholars say that doing exercise for at least one hour in the evening prior to bed time may help us to sleep more soundly. In addition, we should keep a regular time table for sleeping and waking up. If we sleep and wake up at a fixed time every day it becomes our habit. Furthermore, we should avoid using gadgets such us computers and mobiles in the hours prior to bed time as they may cause hindrance to sleep. The brain will be stimulated while watching the gadgets like T.V and phones. As a result, we will be active and awake.

To conclude, lack of sleep causes severe health issues and weariness in some people. It can be solved by doing physical activities regularly and maintaining a proper bed time routine.
