Dear Mr. Smith
I am a new resident of your housing society and I am writing this letter to apologize for the noise that caused inconvenience to you and your families last night.
Last night, I organized a housewarming party at my home and all my friends came to attend this party. The party was going smooth until two of my friends started fighting and shouting at each other over a silly topic. I tried very hard to control the situation but all my efforts went in vain. At last, I had to call the police and they tackled the situation.
I sincerely apologize to you and your family for interrupting your sleep and causing inconvenience to you. I will refrain from organizing parties in my home in the future in order to avoid further problematic events in our society.
Once again, my sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Smith,
I am in receipt of your letter dated 5th September 2021 mentioning the trouble that the noise from our house is causing you. I sincerely regret this and I hope to explain our situation in more detail through this letter.
As you might be aware, we moved into this house last month. Initially, we were under the impression that the walls had enough nails to hang our paintings. However, we realized after moving in that there were none. We had to drill new nails into the walls. Additionally, we had to do some drilling work in the kitchen and bedrooms to ensure that the electric points are at the right place.
I understand that this would have caused a lot of noise and distress to you. I would like to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience it has caused you. I have already directed the workers concerned not to work during the afternoons as it might disturb your sleep.
Additionally, I have told them to wrap up all the work within the next two days. I would be highly grateful if you could bear with us for a couple more days.
