Museums and art exhibitions have a significant role in imparting knowledge about the culture and tradition. Some people say that these places should only exhibit cultural identity of native country excluding the works of foreign artists and tradition. However, this essay does not agree to this assertion due to various reasons which are discussed hereunder.

First and foremost, museums reflect the culture of a place and thus act as a great source of knowledge to many a person. Therefore, if the museums display remains of the culture from all over the world, it would be of great help to many people, especially students and tourists. For example, history museums around the globe should display evidence of great civilizations no matter at which place that are originated. The information regarding them is inevitable for every history student and for someone who wish to explore the world.

Furthermore, art galleries are the reflection of authentic culture of a society or a nation. Thanks to the technological developments, people around the globe can now enjoy the art of any alien or distant lands virtually. However, art exhibitions can make people experience these works in real-time and enjoy to its true color. To make this happen, art galleries must include the drawings and paintings of foreign artists along with the native creations. Moreover, the real experiences of them are more informative than the virtual ones.

To conclude, unlike virtual media, museums and art displays have pivotal roles in teaching the culture and tradition. To have an in-depth understanding of global culture, these places must include contents from all over the world.
