In this competitive world, some people do switch their jobs for their growth in salary or post, However, some would argue that , it is better to remain at same work-place to get long term benefits after their retirement period . This paragraph shall discuss merits and de merits in the forthcoming paragraphs whereas I support the former part .

To begin with , the merits of switching a job is to get an appraisal in their salary or position . Moreover, the youngsters are the ones who switch their job frequently as they do not get their desired job at first. For instance in a company, the HR manager post requires minimum five years of experience for a candidate to apply, so employees had to start with different career and responsibilities in their beginning period . After that , they could reach their desired jobs.
Secondly , if the employees do not like the work-culture or behaviour of other mates towards him, then there is a probability that they would alter their company to a more suitable one. Additionally one more reason that can be added which is over load of work and no work life balance can be another main drawback to switch from one to other .

However, there are a few demerits to this practice. Firstly, if an employee changes their jobs too often, they will not be assigned to perform any big projects. Furthermore such employees often become a liability to the organization and could not get additional benefits for their retirement period as well .

To conclude, employees should work at least two years as a benchmark in one organization before switching to another and it is beneficial to understand the organizational culture of various organizations and to gain professional experiences . Hence, in my opinion definitely the pros edge over the cons.
